The staff at the ryokan was very kind and pleasant. When we bought fireworks, they lent us a chuckerman and bucket so we could enjoy the fireworks as a group.

Since it was a weekday at the end of August, after the Obon vacation, it was not so crowded. Despite the campaign price, we were allowed to stay in a room with an open-air bath on the top floor. The plan included breakfast. I was very satisfied with the view, the open-air bath, and the breakfast. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to go back again.

As an American, I have a certain image of what constitutes a "resort" hotel, and this is not it. The room (Japanese-style) was not a problem, the staff was very helpful, and the communal bath (note: you will likely not have your own bath/shower) was nice.
