We had a self-drive holiday in Hokkaido last week, Of the 7 hotels we stayed in, we liked this the best. We had rooms on the top floor overlooking the harbour. The rooms were very big by Japanese standards, and very well laid-out. Everything was clean

The hotel is old & needs a major facelift. I would consider the prices charge for a night stay with 2 meals at this hotel exobitant & definietly lacks value. Don't mention about ambience just plain dry & expensive.

Compared to other hotels I have been to, there were some very unusual items and I was fully satisfied. I only had soft ice cream because there was no dessert at the buffet, but it was not until I went outside the dining room that I noticed that there were desserts such as fruit outside the room, but it was already too late. I think desserts should be more clearly indicated.
