The hotel location is good. It is approximately 5 minute walk to Sendai downtown. The room is small but tidy. Air-conditioning/heating cannot be adjusted at will as it appears to be of central system. We requested a room for 2 persons, but there was

“when it's crowded”
I had to stay in the Sendai station area at short notice and was able to finally get a non-smoking twin room for consecutive nights. If you must stay overnight, it is within walking distance of the station and reasonably priced. The hospitality of the employees is also fine. There is also a washing machine. There is one room key, which is inconvenient if you arrive on a different bullet train. They change one set of bath towels even if you stay for consecutive nights. However, it smelled like cigarettes and I didn't want to put my face close to it. If you are concerned about it, it would be better to bring just a towel.
