      “secluded hot spring”

The road north of Lake Tazawa was covered with thick fog and visibility was about 20 m. I was not used to such roads, but I managed to get there. I was in a hurry, but the feeling of a secluded hot spring increased. There are four kinds of baths, each different from the others, and the wildness of the baths is quite wild. I didn't dare to take a mixed bath, but I enjoyed it for an hour with only women. The food was much lighter in flavor than I had imagined, with more vegetables, and very tasty. I would like to go back.

      “At-home hospitality”

This ryokan is located at the far end of the Nyuto Hot Springs, and is like a "hidden inn. The building looks old, but there are traces of repairs here and there, and the owner's affection can be felt. Although the hot spring water is not as muddy as that of Nyuto Onsen, it has a thick sulfur smell and is as good as its reputation. The most attractive thing is the open-air bath, which is located quietly at the end of a 50-meter walk in boots under the lingering snow in mid-April, but especially at night it is surrounded by a fantastic atmosphere and feels great. The meals are full of handmade local ingredients, and the hospitality of the owner and his wife (?) is very friendly. I was healed by the kind hospitality of the owner and his wife (?). If I were to rate each item individually, I would not be able to give an all-five rating, but I am very satisfied with the overall rating of five stars.

Both the indoor and outdoor onsen were great, all open 24 hours so there is plenty of opportunity to have the bath to yourself. It is only a short shuttle bus ride away from the other onsen in the Nyuto area. The included breakfast and dinner were very goo

Ganiba Onsen is a spectacular place. We visited in the winter and the whole of Akita was blanketed with snow. I speak Japanese so I can't comment on the staff's English ability, but they were incredibly kind and patient. The Onsen we're beautiful and
