The Health Buffet Amam, is as the name suggests, built around the concept of providing an all-you-can-eat buffet - but one that offers healthy food. In tandem with the spa itself, the hotel is aiming at revitalizing both body and mind. The food at the buffet is prepared with the minimum amount of salt and oil and is heavy on vegetables. Soups, fresh seafood, organic produce and select Hokkaido wagyu (Japanese beef) are all on the menu. The restaurant has a well-stocked wine cellar, with around 1,000 bottles lying in wait. Fresh desserts are made on the day, and there is a juice bar offering fruit and vegetable juice drinks.
