“Just an old hotel.”
For some reason, I was expecting to see many reviews on Google and OTAs that rated this hotel highly, but in reality, it is just an old hotel. There are scattered reviews that say it is old but well cleaned, but that is not the case either. In the pictures provided by the hotel, the rooms may look retro and tasteful, but in reality they are just old.

Probably the biggest single room I've been in Japan. Location is good. Some of the towels I was given were a bit frayed along the edges but other than that, all's good

The room is good. Close to subway station. Breakfast (paid separately) lacks choice and many items are a bit too salty - don't try them if you have high blood pressure.
