I am very satisfied with the atmosphere of the hotel and the rooms. It is not new, but it is clean, sophisticated, and very satisfying. We stayed in a 12.5 tatami room, which was very spacious and my child was very happy. We had a basic kaiseki dinner, but it was a slightly refined version of the group style, so it was neither good nor bad and left little impression. Breakfast was a buffet, but there were not many items.

It was the middle of October, but the autumn leaves were in full bloom. It was also nice to see the Jozankei Luminarie. Luminarie will end on October 18.

It was a very nice place to stay. The facilities and employees were very nice. However, I was disappointed that both of the two baths in the hotel did not have saunas.

Only one suggestion about how dinner was served-main courses shouldn’t be heated at the beginning because by the time we finished our appetisers, main courses were cold and overcooked. We are pleased especially the turn down service - buns and tea provided

“Recommended Accommodations”
The dinner was more food than I could eat. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of dishes, tasted so-so but filled my stomach. The welcome drink was very comfortable, with a variety of choices and all-you-can-eat onsen manjuu (steamed buns), and drinks were freely available after bathing in the onsen. The room smelled pleasantly of tatami mats, had two TVs, and was more than spacious enough for two people.
