To Guests with Food Allergies:
As the lodging's restaurant mainly serves meals in a buffet style, various menus are prepared in the same kitchen with the same cooking utensils, and there is a possibility that allergens may be mixed in trace amounts during the processing and cooking of food. In addition, due to the nature of a buffet-style meal, there is sharing of items such as serving chopsticks and tongs, and washing of dishes, etc. is done in the same area with the same washing equipment, so it is not possible to completely prevent allergen contamination. Therefore, to prioritize guests’ safety, lodging staff will refrain from creating menus for guests with food allergies, as well as from providing information or labeling about allergens in the ingredients used in meals. Lodging staff would like to apologize for the inconvenience, and kindly asks guests to understand the above and make their own judgment on whether or not to partake of the food. Furthermore, guests with food allergies may bring their own safe foods such as allergen-free, retort-pouch foods as well as tableware. If bringing in food, please make a notification at the time of booking.

I thought it was indeed the Cross Hotel. I felt the attention to detail, including the beautiful furnishings in the room. On the second night, we had breakfast. You can choose either Western or Japanese style, and the staff will deliver one plate with side dishes to your table. Otherwise, bread, salad, natto (fermented soybeans), soup, rice, soup, bread, and dessert were served buffet style. I have never seen such things as salad with petals in flowerpots, butter and jam for bread, and other things I have never seen in other hotels. The one-plate meal was served with a menu, but one of the side dishes on the menu was not on the plate. I don't know if it was changed or forgotten.... The dessert menu has 3 choices, but since it is written in Japanese only, it seems that many foreign diners had a lot of desserts. I would have liked to try other dishes if possible....

The room was very nice and I could feel the attention to detail in the amenities and the beautiful items in the room. I stayed for two consecutive nights, so I was able to soak in the large public baths twice, both times reserved for private use. I could see the TV tower from the window. The only thing that disappointed me was the cleanliness of the room. Dust on the walls, dust on the decorations hanging on the wall, and long hair in the shower stall. Other than that it was very nice.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the Sapporo Clock Tower, and the large indoor and outdoor baths on the 18th floor were very relaxing. 3 of us stayed in the room, so one of us had a sofa bed, which was a little disappointing, but the bath in the room was also very nice, with a washing area and a separate toilet and washroom. I was also happy to find coffee beans and a miller in the room, and LUPICIA tea, and I was able to go to the large public bath in separate nightwear, which was very relaxing. Parking was on a first-come, first-served basis, and when the parking lot was full, we were guided to a partner parking lot, but I wish there was a closer location. I will use this hotel again when I visit Sapporo.

We had a standard twin room upgraded to a cross-floor room on the 14th floor last time and found it so comfortable that we decided to stay on the cross-floor plan this time. 3 people, 2 in the main bath and 1 in the room with a view bath. We were able to check on the crowded situation of the public bath from the TV in the room and were able to enter when it was available. The amenities in the room bath were of a high grade, and we were able to bring our own beverages and take a relaxing half-bath. Breakfast is not a buffet but a plate at Corona. Only desserts are hard to choose. I chose the western style, and it was very delicious. Drinks are ordered and brought to you, and refills are free. The security system was in place. The large bathroom can be moved by room gi. The breakfast room is not for room wear, but slippers are OK (confirmed with the front desk). The location is also a short walk from Satsueki, Aka Renga Terrace, MIREDO, shitatte, etc. Cross floor, highly recommended.

“Happy Birthday!”
I planned a trip to spend my birthday in Hokkaido, and started the trip 3 days before in Sounkyo Onsen. We made a reservation for the last day in Sapporo. Even though we arrived early, we were able to check in right away, which was very helpful. I was also very happy to receive a gift and a room upgrade for my birthday. I would definitely use this hotel again.
