老舗の宿なので、細かく古さを感じるのは仕方ないけれど、老舗ならではの良さが随所にありました。なによりコスパ・立地がいい。温泉の大浴場は露天風呂もあり、良かった。最上階でいただく朝食も充実した内容です。佐渡金山やトキの森は車で２０分、遠い宿根木も４０分と、場所もいい。また泊まりたいと思っています。

温泉は、北海道帯広の植物温泉のぬるぬる感に似ていて、たいへんよかった。朝食はバイキングでしたが、どれもおいしく、イカの煮付けが特によかった。しかし、部屋の窓からの景色はあまりよくなかったです。

湯ノ質は良いが、料理は手作りが無い。ゆでカニのみ満足。朝夕食とも、質が低い 何十年前に泊まり良い宿と確信して迷わず予約をしましたが、期待外れ 旅館で出す料理では無いです。居酒屋？夕食にアジの開きが出るのは、不思議です。

“クルマが大事”
「部屋」はシャワー室もないので大浴場に行くしかなかった。「設備」は、部屋のコップが小さすぎるのでマグカップのサイズは欲しい。消臭スプレーもないのでおいた方がいい。全体的にきれい（トイレもきれい）。「サービス」は満足。伝道芸能を見せる４０分くらいのショーがあった（時期は要確認）。「食事」はバリエーションがあって満足。「風呂」は露天もあって、まぁ満足。フロアが平面で排水溝への傾斜が十分でないのか、洗い流したボディーソープの泡や水が真ん中にたまりがちなのが気になった。 「立地」は車があるとないでは大違い。佐渡のよさを感じられるエリアで、トキの公園や、宿根木、佐和田地区をメインに観光するならバスの路線上なので便利。一方で、周りに飲食店がほとんどなくバスも１時間に１本しかなく、タクシーの台数も十分ではない点は要注意。
