The food was excellent, the hotel was very nice and luxurious, and the detailed service was pleasant. However, we were surprised when we arrived to find that we had reserved a Japanese-style room with twin beds for 3 people. (The hotel also tried to find a room with beds, but it was fully booked.) The reservation e-mail on Rurubu clearly stated only 10 tatami mats (34 square meters), but twin beds appeared in the picture. Perhaps we were not thorough enough in confirming the room type, but we would like to see Rurubu clearly state the room type and note the room photo on the Rurubu website.

As advertised. Like most of Japan room feels dated and needs refreshing. But shuttle from the subway was very useful and prompt, the in-room hot tubs were great, the breakfast buffet of Japanese food was good and the view of the lake was great.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful during our stay. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable! When we left there was a shuttle ready and waiting to take us to the station, it was a wonderful hotel.

家族で宿泊させていただきましたが、期待以上に素晴らしい旅館でした。 スタッフの皆さまの丁寧で温かいおもてなしに終始心が和み、館内は清潔感があり居心地も抜群でした。特に温泉はゆったりとくつろげる雰囲気で、日々の疲れが一気に癒されました。 お料理もどれも美味しく、地元の食材を活かした丁寧な味付けに家族全員が大満足。子どもにも気を配っていただき、安心して過ごすことができました。 ぜひまた訪れたいと思える、とても良い旅館です。素敵な時間をありがとうございました。

夕飯の質量は、今までの経験上でもないくらい満足。朝食も干物を自分で焼く形でたのしく、白米がすすむすすむ。大浴場も清潔で、適温。湯上りサロンも新しく、また無料のドリンク等豊富。館内の謎解きゲームも大人でも少し手こずって楽しかった。次回は、親も連れて来たいと思った。ただ、部屋に置いてあるお風呂に持って行くビニールポチ袋に、前の人のゴミが入っていた。あとソファーの下にたまたま忘れものがないか除いたらホコリがあった。この二つがマイナス。でもあとは満足したので、そういう所まで出来れば、言う事なし。

従業員さんや仲居さんの対応がとてもよく、おごと温泉の中ではピカイチ。ゆず茶？でお出迎えもしゃれている。部屋の露天風呂に格子状の開閉可能な目隠しがあるのも、琵琶湖の船上や釣り人から覗かれにくくて良い。凝った料理だが夕食の味が見た目ほどではないのだけが残念。

子連れ女子会をしたさいに、利用させていただきました。 ベビープランにしたので、色々ついてきたのは有りがたかったです。旅館の方が、食事の時やお風呂の時に声をかけていただけたのが嬉しかったです。朝ごはんは１歳の子でも食べられるものが多く、こどもはめちゃくちゃ喜んで食べてました。 赤ちゃんや子供に優しいお宿のようで、私以外にもたくさんご利用されているようでした。また利用したいと思います。

お部屋が最高に広く、掃除も行き届き、サービスも大変良かった。ビール好きの夫も部屋の冷蔵庫のプレミアムモルツがよく冷えていておいしかったと満足でした。お部屋の露天風呂も大変いい温泉で満足です。

ホテルの前に琵琶湖があり部屋からも食事処からも琵琶湖が見えて静かに過ごすことが出来た。大浴場が２４時間使用出来るのは便利だが、湯上がり処の飲み物やアイスの提供も夜中の１時ぐらいまでは使えればいいと思った。

予約していませんでしたが、最寄り駅にちょうどホテルのバスが来たので乗せてもらいました。 アロハシャツでお出迎えの従業員の方もよい感じで、若い男性の方が親切に荷物をもってエスコートしてくれました。 この手のホテルで初めてカモ、いつもは女性の仲居さんが多い。 夕食大満足ですが、何より朝食が良かった。基本バイキングですが 好きな魚を選んで、テーブルで焼いて食べる。ミニ七輪見たいのではなく 焼肉屋さんのようにテーブルの大きな網（魚用）で焼いて食べるのは 近くのテーブルにいたお子さんたちも興味津々で楽しんでいました。

久しぶりの温泉地でしたが、送迎をはじめチェックイン、チェックアウトの対応は大変満足。又、客室係の方も親切丁寧でよかったし、夕食、朝食のスタッフの対応も満足でした。

外観は古びていますが館内はリニューアルもしてありとても綺麗です。部屋も和室に大きなベットがあり室内もきれいにされています。部屋の露天風呂も大きく源泉かけ流しでゆっくり過ごすことができます。料理も文句の付けようが無く大変美味しく頂きました。ただプランには地酒プレゼントとありましたが付いてませんでした。私たちも催促しないのがいけなかったですね。

“Feeling a little rich”
The couple and their daughter have enjoyed their retirement several times over, visiting tourist spots and hot spring resorts in various regions, and are pleased to say that Biwako Ryokusuitei is one of those accommodations that made them feel a little richer.
