“First trip in a long time”
It was our first trip there in a long time, and the weather was beautiful and the number of tourists had increased considerably. The hotel staff was taking good precautions against infection, and my wife and I were vaccinated against infection while staying there. The night cruise on the canal was quite crowded, but everyone kept their manners and enjoyed the ride. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared. The staff were all smiling and made us feel comfortable.

Hotel was generally clean, and has a rustic atmosphere. Hot water refreshing in winter. Location is a short taxi ride away or a hilly walk to the JR Otaru train station. Would recommend this hotel.
