Situated 15 minutes via free shuttle bus from Shinano-Omachi Station, Kanoya is a hot spring inn that exudes a unique atmosphere with its distinct antique furniture. It has spacious guestrooms with private bathrooms, and has indoor and outdoor baths as well. Look out over the terrace for a scenic view of a Japanese garden, or have some fun at the karaoke room.
Guestrooms feature tatami mat floors, futon bedding, TV, refrigerator, and air conditioning. Yukata and tea are also provided.
After a relaxing bath, feel free to enjoy some drinks at the bar. The hotel also has a teahouse, souvenir shop and free parking lot.
Savor a traditional Japanese-style meal for breakfast. For dinner, enjoy a kaiseki cuisine meal featuring autumn matsutake mushrooms and other seasonal ingredients of the region.
The Kurobe Dam is a 25-minute drive from the hotel. A 20-minute drive takes guests to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, where they can proceed to ride a cable car and have a fantastic time enjoying the company of nature and marveling at the majestic scenery.

The go-to campaign has been suspended due to a state of emergency being declared for the new corona infection. The inns in the area have also been affected to a lesser extent. In the midst of the so-called stay-homes, which refrain from unnecessary and non-urgent outings across the prefecture, services and events for residents in the prefecture are being launched in every way possible. The proprietress told me that this time of year is usually crowded with students on graduation trips and skiing tourists. The service was unexpectedly good, and the hospitality was that of a blood-production center. Thank you very much.

Excellent”
Very nice hotel a bit outside Omachi. Room is quite big for japanese rooms and there are foutons to sleep instead of bed. OK for one night. Great Onsen bath and asolutely great dinner with specailiteies from the area. As well breakfast.

利用は３度目”
富山県側から立山黒部アルペンルートを越え３度目の利用。バス停からは少し歩く必要があるが、静かな環境。 混んでなければ部屋食が基本のようで、ゆっくり酒と料理を楽しめます。もちろん温泉も。広い部屋にも関わらず、一人旅には料金も手頃です。

部屋にこたつが付いており、ゆったりと落ち着けました。 食事もおいしく大満足です！！ ただ、露天風呂が閉鎖されていたのは残念でした。
