Ginzan Onsen has a history spanning some 500 years - going back to the old days when it was a silver mine. The name "Ginzan" actually derives from this, as the first kanji character of "Ginzan" means "silver". Notoya Ryokan is a splendid wooden Japanese inn, built on the old streets that line the peaceful Ginzankawa River. The building has been painstakingly preserved, as a monument to the Taisho Era with its distinctive and unique architecture. Guests will feel like they have stepped into a magical fairytale world when they wander down the street towards this old inn. A once in a lifetime opportunity.

憧れの銀山温泉、一泊の短さながら大正浪漫に浸る事が出来てとても楽しかったです。朝夕共に美味しい料理、熱めでかすかなとろみを感じる温泉、女将さんはじめ従業員の方達の細やかな気遣いが重ねて嬉しく、同行の友と次回は家族連れで再訪しようと意見が一致した素敵な宿でした。その時が来たら今回同様また寛がせて下さい。素敵な時間を有難うございました。

銀山温泉最高でした。お迎えから素朴な男性社員の方が荷物をバイクで運んでもらいました。食事も苦手なのがあり、当日にも関わらず、対応して頂きありがとうございました。食事中女将さんがあいさつに来ていただき地酒・漬物のおもてなしもよかったです。泉質も硫黄の香りがして温泉を満喫しました。チェックアウトの時も大女将さんのきちんと名前を呼んで下さり、飴のプレゼントもいただき満足でした。銀山のあったかいお湯とおもてなしに癒された旅行でした。

ナビ登録すると冬季は閉鎖の道を案内するそうなので注意が必要です。食事は期待以上でした。鯉の刺身は絶品。全般的に味付けは非常に上品、見た目も品数も十分過ぎでフルコース。地酒の種類も豊富。おかみさんがわざわざ挨拶に見えられ、気さくに色んな事を教えて下さりました。出発前に少し散策したいことを告げると、快く荷物運びの時間までずらして下さり、とことん優しい心を頂きました。素晴らしい宿です。

“Exceptional”
Ginzan Onsen was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. The 3 different types of baths were great. The food was delicious.
