I booked this hotel because I was looking forward to the hot springs. It was nice that there were many baths in the large bathroom, but I was a little disappointed that I could not tell whether the water was hot or warm until I entered the baths. It was also inconvenient that there is only one clock in the spa. The staff at the restaurant where we ate were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Especially, the milk served at breakfast was very sweet and tasty.

We, 2 adults & 2 kids age 8 & 10, stayed comfortably in the Japanese-style room with the mountain view. We were greeted very politely and nicely by the English speaking & active staff from the front door and at check-in counter. Apparently, the foreigners

+ the best onsen! + room is quite clean - food is not good, I reserved triple crab dinner and the crab was not very fresh. The breakfast was even worse, nothing much eat

“The food was disappointing.”
The quality of the spring is good, but the temperature is similar for the same sulfur spring, so it would be nice if the temperature could be more varied by adjusting the amount of water added. I felt that the food was particularly disappointing, perhaps due to the recent rise in costs. The food at dinner (steak meat) was delicious, but the elderly man in charge of serving it was a little overbearing and made me feel uncomfortable about getting a refill. I was also disappointed that there were no prawns in the tempura. I was also disappointed that there was no seafood at the breakfast buffet. I was especially disappointed in the management of replenishment of food. The dishes were empty for quite a long time, including the Japanese style corner. Rice was empty, salad dressings were empty, and all kinds of salad dressings were empty for a while. I saw several people also requesting for replenishment of various dishes. I felt that there was not a good balance between the serving staff and the clean-up staff. The good image of the past was a bit destroyed.
