Nice place, very very friendly and helpful staff. Baths are good although a bit artificial. Rooms are very nice / big and food is superb (Ryokan style). It is near the train station (private line) although 35 minutes away from Nikko

少し古いですが、いい意味で古きよき旅館の赴きがあり、お部屋は設備も含めて大満足でした。 従業員の方も若い方がとても対応よく、気持ちよく泊まれました（お婆さんはやや強引でデリカシーがないところもありましたが、、） 強いて言えば、内風呂と露天風呂の場所が異なり、露天風呂にはシャワーなどが無いので洗髪料などができません。内風呂の温度も高かったので上がったあとも汗が止まらないのが難点です。 ですが、施設、従業員の親切さで最後まで不満を感じず、気持ちよく思い出を作れました。

“I was able to spend a relaxing time.”
As you would expect from a mountain stream inn, the location by the river was very relaxing. The hospitality was also very natural, and the family-like atmosphere was comfortable. To be honest, the building and facilities may be old, but there was a sense of cleanliness everywhere, and every detail was attended to. We had an early evening and breakfast, and the portions were delicious, not too much and not too little. I would like to use the hotel as a repeat guest in the future.
