This was our first time using the hotel. The front desk clerk who was in charge of us was not in a good mood and was very fast in his explanations, which made us very uncomfortable. It was also inconvenient that the outdoor hot spring and the large bath were separated from each other. The water temperature was just right and we were able to take our time. Dinner and breakfast were buffet style, but I ate too much because of the variety of food. The steak at dinner was especially delicious.

I had stayed there once in the past, and it had been about 10 years since I had stayed there with travel assistance. The food was just great, and at night we had sashimi, steak, hot pot, crab, and so many other gorgeous dishes that we had a hard time deciding what to eat. In the morning, there was seafood, and I was very satisfied with the gorgeous ingredients such as fresh scallops, salmon, and shrimp! However, I was disappointed that the Hokkaido Fair ramen that was on the breakfast menu was only available for dinner.... I should have tasted it at dinner. The welcome ice cream was available from 3pm to 8pm and was very tasty! Much tastier than the soft serve at regular stores! I called the hotel separately and applied for the direct bus service! The only thing is that the hot springs and facilities start at 3pm, so it would be nice to see improvements in this area. I would definitely use this hotel again! The staff was very helpful! Note that the regional coupon is only good until check-out day.

One hour in line at check-in”
I arrived just in time for check-in at 3:00 p.m., but there was already a long line. The front desk staff may be having a harder time than usual because they have to confirm travel discount coupons. There were many old people who were stumped at the front desk counter, and there were many people around complaining about being kept waiting because of the lack of progress. I would have liked to have seen a video showing the tour of the hotel, or have a person in charge of checking documents and preparing them in front of the front desk, or do something while the guests are waiting. Also, it would have been better if they had distributed numbered tickets for check-in. It is a large hotel with three buildings, so it is impossible to handle them all in one place. The front desk staff is friendly and kind, the food is delicious, and the hotel is very attractive, so I hope that the check-in process can be improved to make it smoother.

The buffet breakfast and dinner were good in terms of number of items and taste. The only things that bothered me were the separation of the outdoor and regular baths, Wi-Fi only in the lobby, the parking lot being far away (with a shuttle service), and weeds in the back of the building.

It was a nice lodging. I chose the upgrade plan for my stay. The price did not change that much, so I felt a little bit luxurious.
