A lovely old fashioned hotel, surrounded by trees, and just above Lake Chuzenji. Service was attentive and kind, and the French dinner and Japanese breakfast superb. Beds were comfy and the view of the lake through the trees enchanting, though I understan

Exceptional”

Fantastic location and food to match. Unfortunately it is not near a major train station but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Staff are very helpful and provide great service.

料金の割には”

金谷ホテルはすごく有名で、話のネタにと思い、料金は高かったが、宿泊してみることにした。まず全体的に大きな不満はなかったが、料金のことを考えると、特別よかったと思えるところはなかった。同じ料金で食事も部屋ももっと良い宿は同じ中禅寺湖周辺でもたくさんある。１人当たりの料金が５０００円安ければ、評価は１ポイントは上がったと思う。料金とみあっていない。若いスタッフが多く、サービスもこれといったものはなく、見送りさえなかった。

ちょっと惜しい！”

全体的な雰囲気・スタッフの対応・食事等、大変満足できました。しかし、朝食で、ジュース・ミルク等からドリンクを一種類選べるのですが、もう一種類を別料金でお願いしたら、対応していただけませんでした。残念～ちょっと惜しい！
