It was a good reminder of my first visit to the temple in three years.”
I happened to be searching and was able to find it. The location was so close to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple that I was surprised to see it. The receptionist was very pleasant and polite in responding to our questions. The receptionist did not explain the location of the bathhouse, so I had to look for it in my room with a guidebook, but I would have liked to have been told about it. Other than that, the person on the way out was friendly and helpful, and I was happy to have stayed at a nice place. The bath was nice, although the water was lukewarm, so it was difficult to warm up and it was a long soak. My wife said that the women's washing area was very cold because of the wind blowing in. The dinner was more than I could eat, and the vegetarian meal in the morning made for a physically well-balanced meal. The eel was delicious as expected. The mini roll cakes for dessert were delicious and I thought there might be some as souvenirs, but I was disappointed that there weren't any. It was a long story, but it was a good memory of the trip for the couple.

homa practice”
The location was close to the main gate of Narita-san, so it took only a short time to get to and from the goma practice site, which started at 6:00 a.m. It was the first time for me to participate in an early morning event, and it was a great memory for me.

I enjoyed staying at Wakamatsu Honton in 2017, and came back in 2018. The cuisine, excellent staff and chefs, and comfortable, cozy room gets 5 stars! Domo arigato!
