Kagaya is a traditional ryokan that was established in 1906 and this year marks its 112 anniversary!
It is highly rated for its hospitality and service and has been chosen as one of the highest ranking accommodation facilities in the country.
Wakura Onsen is an iconic seaside hot spring in the Hokuriku region with a history of 1,200 years.
Enjoy magnificent scenery from Kagaya’s open-air baths.
Cuisine is prepared with an abundance of local, seasonal ingredients, and guests are served Japanese-style kaiseki course meals that primarily feature fresh seafood cuisine.
Guestrooms and the lodging interior feature a simplistic Japanese style, so guests can enjoy a pleasant stay while relishing the peaceful Japanese atmosphere.
Kagaya staff earnestly look forward to guests’ arrival.

Thank you for your meticulous attention to detail from arrival to send-off. I was especially surprised that you were able to provide me with a yukata that fit me perfectly without my having to tell you my size. Thank you very much.

"You get what you pay for", unfortunately the saying did not apply to our stay. We experienced the worst dinner and breakfast for the price we paid for. This hotel is way overrated!

“It is indeed the best inn in Japan!”
I stayed with my parents who are in their 80's. We were able to get a room with little movement from the elevator. We arrived early, but were treated to matcha green tea and Japanese sweets, which made for a relaxing wait. The museum is quite spacious, but there are many works of art on display here and there, so it was a feast for the eyes. All the employees were kind and courteous. Although the Noto Peninsula is far away, I would like to stay at this inn again.
