      “feel disappointed”

I had high expectations for this hotel because it is a sister hotel of Kagaya, but I was quite disappointed. We reserved a slightly more expensive room in the east wing, but it was a small room in a corner that was not as it appeared on the website. The bathroom door had been removed, the wood on the window frame was faded and scratched, and the table by the window was a glass table that did not fit in a Japanese-style room, and it was not clean. The table in front of the window is a glass table, which is not clean, and the carpet in front of the refrigerator is stained. The tea set is also somewhat unclean. Which is the new wing? There are 3 of us and only 2 people are provided with water and half-clothes. The dinner and breakfast were good, but there was no other information or farewell service. I would have been disappointed if it were a business hotel, but it was a very expensive onsen ryokan.

      “Family-friendly hotel”

However, since it was summer vacation, many families and groups were using the hotel, so it may not be suitable for those seeking a quiet and relaxing stay. What was good was the location, with the sea spreading out in front of the windows and the summer fireworks right in front of us. The most disappointing part was the open-air bath. There are no windows or walls, and there are no special features.

      “Lodging Impressions”

The facilities in the hotel were clean and favorable, but there were people with tattoos bathing in the main baths. I was a little surprised to see people with sarashi wrapped around their stomachs in the changing rooms, and they were carrying small carry-on bags. Also, women saw us off when we checked out in the morning, but I personally thought it was unnecessary. I think the cost of this stay was good.

Aenokaze provided a relaxing stay with exceptional service and outstanding meals. Although we do not speak Japanese, Aenokaze had a couple of English speakers on staff that helped us with any questions. We spent two nights and enjoyed different dinners eac
