The TV remote control was broken, which was immediately taken care of. The room was dark even in the daytime, and when we asked if there was a light by the bed, they immediately gave us a stand. Unfortunately, the cleaning was quite problematic. The bedside table was completely white with dust, and there were four brown stains on the TV stand left by a previous guest. The stains were quickly removed with a dab of water, so we assume that the room has not been wiped clean for a long time. There were also hardened stains on the carpet on the floor. We felt that the room had not been cleaned as it should have been even in these times. Have the door knobs, TV remote controls, tables, room light buttons, etc. been disinfected? Couldn't the cleaning staff just check the TV remote control, which was broken, as part of the cleaning process? The reception and dining staff were good, the breakfast was delicious, and Yusuhara was nice. Please improve the hotel and make it clean.

Impressed by Kengo Kuma Design”
Stayed at this hotel, one of Kengo Kuma's designs. We were very satisfied with the stylish room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and perfect. Coffee service would be better. We took a bus to the main building for dinner and the public baths, but it was no problem. It was relaxing.

Bath and dinner are 3 minutes by shuttle to the main building. It is not too much trouble. The bath in the main building is satisfactory with an open-air bath and sauna. Dinner was hearty and satisfying. The rooms are tasteful and relaxing with high ceilings. I was able to relax.

The room is great and it’s near to Shikoku karst, around 45 mins by car. The building and street are beautiful. Staffs are friendly! However, it’s quite far from town but it’s fine for us since we’re driving.

Great modern, comfy and spacious accommodation. Good hospitality! Free parking available next to hotel. Lift. Free Wi Fi. Breakfast was good. Location is great too. Well done!
