Established 370 years ago, Tokiwaya Ryokan is a traditional Japanese-style hotel located at the heart of the Nozawa Onsen area. Guests can look forward to soaking in natural hot springs. Free Wi-Fi connection is also available in some parts of the hotel. The Oyu open-air bath, a symbol of the hot spring town of Nozawa Onsen, is just 10 meters away.
The hotel is 90 minutes by bus from JR Nagano Station and 15 minutes by bus from JR Togari-Nozawaonsen Station. The hotel has a parking lot free of charge. The Jigokudani Monkey Park can be reached via direct bus in 1 hour.
Guestrooms are equipped with an LCD TV, fridge (with free bottled water), air conditioning unit, low table, floor cushions, tea set, and a private bathroom (with bath tub).

“ベテラン仲居さんに感謝”
建物は新しくはないものの、清潔・源泉の湯・分かりずらいが温泉地中心の立地・接客サービス・食事と満足いく内容でした。 特にベテラン仲居さん方々の笑顔と心配り等は満点です。御蔭さまで心地よく寛げました。食事も地場の食材を使って美味しく頂けました。野沢温泉は本当に温泉地らしい賑わいが有り、周辺の散策も楽しめました。最近の旅館は、人材不足からか？従来の仲居さんの仕事が省略されている所が多い中、常盤屋旅館さんの昔ながらの温かいもてなしには感激しました。ありがとうございました。また、訪れたいと思いました。
