Making it to the top 25 B&Bs and inns of Japan on a well-renowned online travel website is this ryokan, located a 10-minute walk from Yudanaka Station. Guests can look forward to soaking in a large communal bath or open-air bath, or trying out the reservable open-air bath (for a charge). A relaxing massage is also available (request system). The hotel also features free Wi-Fi connection throughout the entire building, a Japanese taiko drum show at the lobby, a karaoke room, and gift shop. Fantastic service and great lady owner who went through lengths to ensure that our stay at the Ryokan would be a fabulous one. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was also fantastic. Certainly recommended!

In spite of the bad looking exterior, this was a great place to spend a few days. Having been to a number of more expensive ryokans, it far exceeded our expectations.
