“You should go to this hotel at least once.”

Lots of unique hot springs, including the famous cave baths, very good half-buffet meals, and the rooms were spacious with great views (Yamagamikan). I got the impression that the large staff took pride in their work. I felt that this is indeed a historic hotel. Due to the location, the parking lot is far away, so be careful if you have large luggage. The hotel is so large that it is difficult to move around, but I felt like I was exploring and walking around. It is good that there are chairs everywhere, making it easy to take a break. I was thrilled to be able to see Nachi Falls from the hotel restaurant (restaurant in the Yamagami Pavilion). I think the heating, cooling, and utility costs are quite high for such a large facility, but I hope they will continue to do their best after Corona, and I support them.

      “Third time.”

The dinner buffet is satisfactory with lots of delicious food such as meat, tuna, and Wakayama ramen noodles, but it could do without the fried chicken and fried shrimp. They are delicious, but I wish they would serve more local dishes. I like all the baths and am satisfied with them.

      “It was a huge inn.”

I stayed 3 nights in a row at the Sanjokan with breakfast plan. The hotel is spacious. It takes almost 15 minutes to get to the furthest bath, Genbudo. I felt the hot water of Isonoyu in Nisshokan was the best hot spring. I was looking forward to going to Genbudo, but there were always so many people there that I could not calmly enter. The staff was really kind and wonderful, including the driver of the shuttle, the front desk, and the cleaning staff. The rooms were great, with ocean views, and the cleanliness was excellent. I only evaluated the breakfast, but I had the impression that the Corona restaurant was not very good. It is not the inn's fault, but I was not pleased to see an elderly group eating right behind us, chatting loudly without masks. I felt that a buffet might be a good idea. I felt that there should be a limit on the number of people. I declined breakfast the next day. I think the best thing about this inn is the hospitality of the staff towards the guests. This is the only good thing about this inn.

      “Unforgettable Hot Springs”

It was a hassle to take the shuttle bus from the parking lot to the hotel. Dinner was a buffet featuring tuna, but it was not good. Everything else was good. The staff was especially warm and helpful. The one and only cave bath was great.
