The hotel's private open air onsen's are a special treat; they are reached by a short ride on the hotel's private cable car. There is also a private onsen for couples/families/groups that can be rented for an hour. Of course, there are the usual indoor

We loved everything about this hotel. It is in a beautiful place with gorgeous views. The outdoor Onsen is wonderful and the staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. And the food is amazing - dinner consisted of at least 10 dishes all different

Maybe one of the best nights of our life, and definitively the best part of our honeymoon. The staff is very friendly and sensitive, even if everybody don't speak English. They always find a solution to communicate. Even if the hôtel looks a little bit old

This is the worst hotel amongst my 10 days trip in Japan. We paid for 31,000yen per night. The dinner was so bad, the food was junk. Our room was next to the cable car entrance and that was noisy. The cable car passengers can see through the room unless we

This is for sure an excellent Ryokan when staying in this area. Access is a little bit more complicated, but worth the troubles. The Onsen is excellent as well as the food.

Kazurabashi is a small ryokan hotel with very nice baths, and makes a great effort to offer local meals (ie made with mountain ingredients). It is a smaller hotel than I expected for the facilities available, which include a cable car, which takes you to
