For those who plan to stay there, you should call the ruukan in advance on time and date to pick you up at the bus stop.

Excellent”
A nice ryokan just off the main Kurokawa shopping area up a small lane, 5min walk or 1 min by car. Onsen facilities were good and not crowded. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great ryokan tucked away from the other ryokans. You do have to walk up a little hill from the main tourist area so that might be a consideration for some folks. Be sure to let them know beforehand if you are arriving by bus and they would come pick you up

Very good”
Nice Ryokan and the service is good. However the staff can't really communicate in English. So we have limited communication with them. The surrounding is nice and you can just walk down (less than 10 mins) to the quaint little town.
