      “I hadn't been there in 12 years.”

I visited the restaurant 12 years ago with my husband and wife in the snow and it was so good that this time we brought our 11 year old son to visit with us as a family. The food was delicious and the portions were generous and filling. However, my 11 year old son was on a children's meal because he was on a children's bill. I was worried because he is a big boy and eats more than an adult, but surprisingly the meal was quite large, so we shared it with the adult meal and enjoyed it. I wanted to show my son this magnificent giant hot spring, so I was very happy. My son was very impressed with the hot springs. However, the temperature of the hot spring was quite low in some places and it was cold when we moved around. It had been a long time since we visited, but my son wanted to come back again, so we were very satisfied. Although the onsen is the main attraction of this ryokan, it would be better if there was a space where you could relax even when you are not in the onsen, for example, if there were a lot of manga available.

      “Rice is the best”

The food was very good, the dinner was gorgeous, but the breakfast was also stylish and delicious, not the breakfast at The Ryokan! The dining area was like a private room, so we could eat without hesitation. The room was supposed to be 10 tatami mats, but it was more than 15 tatami mats, and I think it was more than 20 tatami mats if you include the front room and the veranda. It was a happy miscalculation. There are various buildings, old and new, and my child enjoyed exploring the museum. The old buildings were very nice and emotional. The hot springs are very spacious and interesting, but a little lukewarm. It was a bit leisurely and not for those who want a relaxing soak in the hot spring. The view of the river from the hot spring was great. When we were talking about bears, a male staff member showed us pictures from when bears were kept at the ryokan and explained a lot about them to us, which was nice. There was nothing around the hot springs, and the fact that there were bears nearby meant that the boardwalk? The trail was inaccessible.
