This is a modern-style ryokan (Japanese-style inn) with a bright and refreshing atmosphere. Inside its premises, guests can relax and enjoy over 500 pieces of artwork, records of writers and artists, as well as seasonal flowers decorated throughout the inn. Rooms come prepared with English pamphlets and hotel guides. Food requests can be made if ordered in advance. For guests traveling in groups, an English speaking attendant will be assigned to take care of all requests from arrival to departure.

Includes free drinks! Cheap!”
The room was a valley-side room, but the room was on the 10th floor, so you could see the mountains in the distance well, but not the mountain stream. The room was spacious and satisfactory. Dinner was a kaiseki meal. The number of dishes was not large, but it was quite tasty and I was full. I can't drink as much as I used to, but this price is cheap for an all-you-can-drink package. The sauna was out of order and could not be used, and I thought that the crystal bath was a large bathroom when many group tours came in the old days, but the hot water of makimizu and the Okutone eight views, which were replaced the next day, were good because I could see the mountain stream.

The Heart of Japan is also at your service.”
There is no (few) Japanese support for both dinner and breakfast, so the feeling of service is not conveyed. At sashimi, I finally got soy sauce after the fourth request. The all-you-can-drink alcohol service is fine, but some guests who drink well and talk loudly appear. I recommend that you pay for higher grade alcohol to be served. The bath was great. The hot water level is satisfactory.

Disappointing New Year's Eve Accommodation”
Every year, my family and I stay at Mizukami for snow play, but this time we were disappointed with the Mizukami Pavilion. There are many things I would like to say, but the first is that the hospitality was not up to par in all aspects. I don't know what the purpose of using the facility was. Is just eating and taking a bath the only attraction of the inn? The breakfast buffet was the worst meal ever. And since it was breakfast on New Year's Day, I felt terrible at the beginning of the New Year. I will never use this hotel again.

Exceptional”
The hotel was definitely dated and smelled of cigarettes throughout. It was still a very nice experience to have. We wish they would have explained some of the customs/foods/etc to us foreigners a little better. We have a basic knowledge of Japanese ryokan
