2. Work Scope
- Some 8th & 9th floor Japanese-style rooms will be renovated into Japanese/Western-style rooms with an open-air bath.
- Renewal and improvement of water circulation facilities in Japanese-style rooms (5th and 6th floors)
- Expansion of barrier-free facilities (applicable guestrooms only)
3. Booking/Sale
Guestrooms and facilities not subject to construction will be available as usual.
However, there is a possibility that construction work with loud sounds will be carried out during daytime hours in May.
Please be aware of this before booking a consecutive-night stay.

We stayed at the hotel on a trip to Dogo Onsen, and despite the rain, we were greeted outside. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the employees who guided us around the rooms and took care of our meals were very pleasant. There was also an after-dinner event.

The staff is helpful and provided good quality services. They always showed smile. They are well-mannered and pleasant. Faciities are well-established and we enjoyed the stay there.

“Dissatisfied about the cleaning. Otherwise satisfied.”
I stayed at the Kaikatei. The room was not well cleaned with dust in every corner. (Dust in the corner of the door, dust on the shoji, washbasin was unclean, etc.) I had rhinitis, so I had an allergic reaction when I entered the room. Other than that, I had no complaints at all, the food was delicious, and the bath was very relaxing. It is a little far from the main street of Dogo Onsen, but there is a bus service so we were able to get around without any difficulty. The only negative is that it would have been a very nice trip if the rooms had been cleaned a little more properly.
