Because of the Corona disaster, we decided on the room meal plan. I have stayed at several Dogo Onsen inns, but the food was outstanding compared to others. The staff at the entrance of the hotel were very attentive to our car, and waved to us on the way back until they could no longer see us. Check-in and check-out were smooth and smart. The customer service at the coffee shop and souvenir store was excellent. We were assigned a waitress, so nothing was too much trouble. The only drawback was the bath. I was looking forward to taking a bath since it was in Dogo Onsen, but the baths were very dilapidated. The rooms are small for the number of rooms, and while other hotels have multiple baths, there is only one. There are stairs to go up and down, and it is not barrier-free. Also, I booked a room with a hinoki bath, but was told that the bath in the room was not a hot spring bath, so I wish they had indicated this clearly. I also enjoyed the plates of food. I felt the chef's attention to detail.

We used this hotel in conjunction with attending a live concert. I was looking forward to the food this time as well, since I enjoyed the food the last time I used the restaurant. We returned from the concert just in time to enjoy our meal, but we were very satisfied with the food, both for our eyes and our palates. I also enjoyed the variety of the breakfast menu.

in all respect this hotel was the best one in all 8 different ones we stayed at. immaculate in all respects!

“Great Inn”
The room service for both dinner and breakfast is still very relaxing. The service staff was well trained.
