The room was spacious and the low bed had a good mattress and pillows, so I was able to rest well. The food was beautifully arranged for your eyes to enjoy, and the portions were just right. The bath was also good and I was able to relax. I would like to use this hotel again.

The weather was bad, so the view from the rooftop outdoor bath was cloudy and very disappointing. I was very satisfied with the dinner, which was full of seafood and looked good, and the quantity was enough to fill me up. The hot spring water was very mild and good for the skin. The Balinese style lobby was nice and made me feel a little bit like I was in a foreign country.

I was satisfied with my room, but I could not sleep because I could hear the air conditioning in the hallway all the way to my bedroom. I called the front desk and asked them to turn it off, but it started up again in the middle of the night and I had trouble sleeping. The staff was well trained and the view from the room was nice. The food is not bad overall, but there are no signature dishes for the price.

“It was a wonderful trip to Matsushima!”
Traveling with my daughter. It was our first visit to Matsushima. Matsushima itself was a wonderful place, but this ryokan had a wonderful view from the room, and the next morning we could see the sunrise from both the room and the open-air bath. The food was also excellent. The sashimi and shark's fin were delicious. The food was also very considerate, and although we had told them in advance what we couldn't eat, they didn't say "instead of XX, we had XX", but instead we both enjoyed the same menu. I was also impressed with the breakfast menu, which was very gentle on the stomach. Thank you to the staff for their willingness to take us to and from the station.
