This is the only hotel by the Taishoike Pond, located in front of Taishoike bus stop. This is the best place to take pictures or to walk around to appreciate the beautiful scenery of this area. The scenery at dusk and at dawn is exceptionally beautiful. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant which looks out onto the pond and Mt. Yake.

The hotel is located write in front of the bus stop. However, it is not near that near Kamikochi bus terminal (5 min by bus, or 40 min walk). In my opinion, Taisyoike Pond is the most beautiful location in Kamikochi and staying overnight allows you to see
