Very simple clean hotel with friendly staff. Just around the corner of the Philosophers path and Ginkakuji (Silver pavilion). No breakfast and dinner served; an excellent bakery is just across the road as well as several restaurants. Bus ride from Kyoto

部屋は鉄の重たい扉で開閉しにくくトイレも同じ鉄製で、しかもそのつどきしむ音が陰気くさく、通された部屋はあらかじめのエヤコンが掛けてなくてムーとして暑くあわててスイッチを入れましたが中は蒸し風呂のようでした。 しかもアメニチィーなどなくポットもお茶もありません。小さなテレビが置いてあるだけでまるでタコ部屋のようで居心地が悪く、二泊の予約をしていましたが一日早めにチェックアウトしました。もちろん二泊の料金を払って。もう泊まることはないでしょう。

“Excellent”
Good hotel far of town center but near Ginkakuji. Good welcome. Access by bus 5 and 204. One bus each 7 min. Good service but no wifi.
