The New Miyako Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it an extremely convenient location for those arriving by regular JR trains or the Shinkansen.

Located close to Kyoto station and most tour stops. Easy to find and access this hotel when it is close to the Kyoto station. Taxi is readily available, but super close to Kyoto station that you can get to where you want to go without any issues.

Good place just near the station, friendly staff. i didn't get to try the restaurants. the only negative point was the room, it needs a good layer of paint to hide the cracks or the stains of time abuse.

A bit far from JR station. We have booked a room of 31sq m, but it was at the end of the corridor (the staff told us that all bigger rooms are at the end of corridors). What a pity if it is the case.
