An anciet Kyoto townhouse with over 100 years of history. The house is a 2-storey wooden building (non-smoking) with no elevator. The building used to be a tea house, but has been renovated to accommodate guests. This area was the home to the imperial family dueing the Heian era, and as expected is rich in history and culture. This area was also featured as the setting for a section of the Japanese novel The Tale of Genji (Genji Monogatari), which is famous as being the first novel in the world. After check-in and a short explanation of the facility, guests are free to come and go as they please - it's not so much "staying" like in a hotel, but more like "living" in your own Kyoto house! Meals are not provided, but guests are free to make use of the fully-furnished kitchen. Please try not to cook anything too smelly though! Amenities like shampoo, tea and coffee are provided. Car parking is available nearby.

元平安京内裏跡にある京町家のゲストハウスで、食事はありませんが調理器具が揃っています。（冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、電磁調理器、お皿類ほか） グループでワイワイするには持って来いです。 但し、場所は少しわかりにくいですが。。

観光地には近いのですが、少々奥まったところに立地しているので、初めてだと路に迷うかも？建物自体はキレイにリフォームされていて、非常に快適でゆっくりできました。また機会があればよろしくお願いします。

京都市のほぼ真ん中に位置しどこに行くにも近くて便利でした。素泊まりのため正直寝られればいいよね。感覚で予約したのですが食器・調理器具・自転車・洗濯機・洗剤・お風呂・アメニティ全てがあり大満足でした。 欲を言えば２階にもＴＶが１台ほしかったです。 ミニバンで行ったので町屋付近の道が思いのほか狭くてかなり苦労はしました。ですが、機会があればぜひ利用したいです。
