Kyoto Townhouse: Kiyomizu Rokushoan

With rickshaws passing over cobbled streets past the nearby Yasaka Shrine, this Kyoto townhouse is located in the Higashiyama area within easy walking-distance of Kodaiji Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizudera Temple Chion-in and others. Well connected to the rest of Kyoto, with Gion-4-Jo and Kiyomizu-5-Jo stations just 15 minutes walk away. The Hankyu line can also be used via Kawaramachi Station, just 17 minutes away on foot. There is a convenience store 3 minutes away on foot, and a 24 hour supermarket just 2. The entire place is available to rent for those looking to have a taste of the traditional. After check-in and a short explanation of the facility, guests are free to come and go as they please - it's not so much "staying", as in a hotel, but "living" in your own Kyoto house. Meals are not provided, but guests are free to make use of the fully-furnished kitchen. Please try not to cook anything too smelly though! Amenities like shampoo, tea and coffee are provided.
