This historic ryokan has served guests from the heart of central Kyoto for over 180 years. Meals at Watazen utilize the best ingredients and techniques available for genuine Kyoto-style cooking, and its quiet, comfortable guestrooms and large shared baths will ensure a peaceful night's rest. The inn has added more English signs and guides in the building in order to accommodate overseas guests and staff include members fluent in foreign languages.

Good location that is within walking distance to Nishiki Market and train stations. Service is also great; the staff are very friendly and can speak English. The room is very clean and the futon is very comfortable. It would be good if the check in time

Wow, this Ryokan provides just an amazing experience. It is located about a 5-7 min walk from the Shijo station so it is close to the main subway lines. This was the first ryokan we have been to and it definitely was a good experience. The staff was polite

어른들모시고 갔는데 버스정류장과 니시키시장에서 매우가까워서 참 좋았어요 직원분들 친절하다못해 황송할지경이고 시설도 참 좋았어요 다음에 또 교토에가게되면 이곳에 묵을거에요

일단 위치는 가라스마역에서 15분정도 걸린듯합니다. 그렇지만 역에서 나와 코너 한번만 돌아 직진하므로 헤맬일없이 찾기는 쉬운 위치입니다. 료칸시설은 전반적으로 좋았습니다. 시설도 깨끗하고 방도 춥지않았고요. 직원들도 친절했고 특히 식사가 좋았습니다. 조식 석식을 먹었는데 가격에 비해 정말 괜찮은 식사였어요. 단, 지하에있는 대욕장은 12명정도 이용할수 있을 정도로 작습니다. 룸내에 있는 샤워시설은 한명이 간신이 들어갈정도로 작고요. 그러나 전반적으

아주 친절하고 깔끔한 료칸이었습니다. 서비스도 좋았고. 지하 대중탕도 잘 사용했습니다. 부모님과 형제들 5식구가 정말 만족하고 왔습니다. 방에 오셔서 인사해주신 료칸 오너가 아주 인상적이었습니다. 니시키시장도 바로 앞이고 움직이기도 편리하였습니다. 아주 친절하고 반갑게 맞아주신 분들에게 모두 감사드립니다.

베드침실도 있는진 모르겠지만 전 다다미방을 이용했는데요 3인실은 그런대로 좋았습니다. 가이세키요리는 생각보다 별로였구요 목욕탕은 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 근처에 시지키시장이었나 재래시장이 있어서 구경할 수있고 음식도 살 수있어요. 동네가 조용해서 좋았구요 다음에 또 묵고싶은 료칸입니다. 다음엔 샤부샤부로 할까봐요. 가이세키를 첨 드시는분들은 괜찮을겁니다.

很棒的住宿体验~酒店老板是位90岁的老奶奶，会到每个房间去询问用餐感受，早上起来一直在前台迎来送往，敬业精神很令人感动~用餐的体验也很好，女将一道道将料理上齐，真的是享受~房间也很大，榻榻米很有日式感觉~离锦市场和河原町都不远，步行就可以到了~
