Situated in Kyoto, a city known for its beauty in all four seasons, this ryokan strives to be one of the best. The building, a two-floor wooden structure featuring traditional sukiya architecture, is modeled after a townhouse of the old capital, a style which is all but lost today. Each of the mere nine rooms has a unique aura which provides guests with a peaceful place to drift along the flow of time in elegance. Completing the experience, Kyoto's famous kaiseki-ryori cuisine, prepared with the flavors of the current season, is brought to each room for guests to enjoy.

“Exceptional”
Had one night here and I loved it! The room, the food, the service was outstanding! Was pricey for a solo traveller but at least they accepted solo travellers unlike other ryokans.
