Easy access from Kyoto Station to Hankyu Arashiyama Station bus stop which is a few minute walk to the resort. Once you check in you will be taken good care with great accommodations, kaiseki dinner and onsen. The room is comfortable with great amenities.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The location was 30 secs from Arashiyama station, and the facilities were great. However, the food was nearly horrible, and I was barely able to eat dinner(kaiseki) and skipped breakfast.

The overall ambiance felt like a tourist factory. We did not feel like guests, rather we felt like numbers in a production line. I had to remind myself I was in Japan, not China. This was in huge contrast to other places we've stayed in Japan.
