Sizable room for a Japanese hotel, extra bed no problem. Excellent location if travelling by train; bus station is also next to the hotel.

It is a small, nice Hotel beside the Kyoto Railway Station. The staff is very friendly. Japanese (without coffee) or Western Breakfast are available in house.

“Hospitality at its best”
I travel to Kyoto on average once a month and stay at a different hotel each time to find a regular place to stay. With all due respect, I thought the most attractive point of this hotel was its proximity to the station until I stayed here. Of course, being able to check in without the need for an umbrella even in the rain was a top choice when selecting a hotel, but the most attractive thing about Hokke Club Kyoto that I felt after staying there was the hospitality of the hotel staff. They delivered our rental items to our room with a smile despite their busy schedule, remembered that we had called in advance to inquire about the possibility of receiving mail during our stay (as a result, the delivery address was changed from the hotel to our home due to a delay in arrival caused by a typhoon), and even asked us when we checked out if we wanted to receive any mail. When we checked out, he kindly asked us to confirm that we had heard in advance that we might receive a piece of mail. I was very happy to receive such courteous and wonderful hospitality and was able to enjoy my trip with a refreshed feeling from the morning.
