This conveniently located hotel is easily accessible from Kyoto Station. There are bus stops and a tourist information center between Kyoto Station and the hotel. There are also several convenience stores nearby.

It would have been helpful to clarify which direction one should exit the railroad station to reach the hotel (naturally we came out on the wrong side). Otherwise our stay was pleasant in just about every way.

The hotel is right across the central exit from the main Kyoto Station (JR lines/ shinkansen/ subways/ bus terminal) and right next to the Kyoto tower. If it rains, you can access the hotel through the underground Porta shopping mall. Plenty of food option
