      Great hotel- situated close to the station and with good transport links to get around Kyoto. Hotel had a great ambience- friendly staff and very clean, cool design throughout the reception/ gallery, bedrooms and bar/breakfast areas.

      Although this hotel is considered avant-garde we found it to be a dump. The room is advertised as a semi-double but in reality it is a single. It is extremely small and difficult for 2 people tot move around in it. The carpeting is dirty and stained. The
