“お部屋の使い勝手が良いところが気に入りました！！”
まず、お掃除が行き届いていてキレイ！次に、このタイプのお部屋にありがちな、テレビ台やチェストも兼ねた壁面に設置のカウンター状のデスクが良かった！電源の位置もよいので、ＰＣの電源をとりながら、あるいは、ドライヤーを使いながら、の作業にストレスがありません。他ホテルのこの規模の部屋タイプにおいては、鏡の前に腰かけようと思っても、鏡の下に他の調度品が占領していたり、引き出しが邪魔だったりして椅子ごと鏡に近づけず、メイクの際に不便なことが多いのです。ツインベッドの枕元にはスマホ充電用の電源（ＵＳＢ口も）が各々に設けられております。コンパクトながら、テーブルとソファーもあり、椅子も都合２脚。調度品の品数では他ホテルと変わらないと思われるのに、適材適所なのでしょう使い勝手が良いのです。使用する客の目線に丁寧に寄り添っておられる部屋作りに大満足です。お世話になりました。また利用したいホテルです。

“一般ホテルと”
チェックインがＰＭ４：３０頃となり、境内拝観は５時までとの事で、荷物を預けて散策へ。境内案内図と近道を教えて頂きいざ。塔頭の数も多く、ルートを確認しながらの散策でしたが、５時を過ぎる頃でしたので、拝観者の帰る方々、近隣の散歩の方々に遭遇。広大な寺域のなか、石畳・松・瓦葺き塀等時代劇映画のワンシーンが頭をよぎる雰囲気でした。ＲＣ建物で、一般ホテルと変わりません。しいて言えば、売店の内容に宗教的な要素のお土産が多い事位でしょうか。レストラン風の食事処では、外国の若いグループの方々も見かけました。早朝のお参り（法堂）は、外からになり少し期待外れでしたが。

“京都マラソンで宿泊”
マラソン前日は素泊まり、マラソン当日は２食付で宿泊。ＪＲ花園駅から徒歩６分、スタート地点の西京極陸上競技場に徒歩３５分はちょうど良い。和室の布団敷きはセルフサービスで気が楽で良い。とても静かで景色も良い。夕朝食共に京都風で大変美味しかった。大浴場は温泉ではないが広くてマラソン前後には大変良かった。隣接の妙心寺を静かな朝一番で拝観できて満足。歯ブラシの色は水色一色だけでなく複数色用意してくれるとよい。京都は宿泊税が始まっていた事を忘れていた。
