I have changed the double room on the 4th floor to the twin room on the 3rd floor because of the smoking odor. The hotel person-in-charge is very nice and helpful. Our breakfast is simple and tasty. The hotel is small and quiet, room is spacious.

Basic, clean, and spacious rooms. The staff went above and beyond helping me to find something to eat when there was a typhoon overhead and nearly all restaurants were closed. Not too far from either of the Arashiyama train stations or the Arashiyama sight

Located near the riverside, this hotel offers a relaxing environment. The staff is really nice but some don't speak english. And despite, the fact there is internet connexion, it would had been even better if it was wifi.
