Jukaitei

This small hotel has eight rooms, each of which is each equipped with a cypress bath overlooking the ocean with great views of the sunset. It specializes in crab and other seafood cuisine.

The pride of this ryokan is the beautiful scenery and its fresh seafood dishes. The ryokan is built on top of a hill, so guests can enjoy the view of the sea from their rooms. The baths in guest rooms are not hot springs, but they are panoramic baths, so guests can gaze out at the ocean while soaking in the bathtub.

The proprietor of the Jukaitei is a broker between the ryokan and the Taiza fishing harbor auction, and also the chef for the ryokan. With judgement that has been cultivated over many years, he will provide carefully-selected seasonal ingredients obtained from the auction. This ryokan is endorsed by the local fishermen themselves as a place for being able to eat delicious fish. The winter only Taiza crab dishes are procured straight from the harbor, so they are both affordable and exquisite. The venue for both dinner and breakfast will be the restaurant.
