Kawayu's spring water quality is excellent. The facilities are old but clean. The employees are friendly. Except for one person. The response was never the same.... I don't ask for improvement. I will not use it again.

I have used other facilities in Kawayu Onsen before, but I think the quality of the spring water was just as good. I felt that the accommodations were old and had some sulphur in them, but the staff was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable. I personally appreciated the indoor parking lot. Many of the lodging facilities in Kawayu Onsen are no longer in business, and I felt sad.

We stayed at this hotel as it was well located for autumn viewing. We had a smoking room and the smell from the next rooms were rather strong..., it was a comfortable room but was rather tired looking and so was the Onsen area, not what we have experienced

“We should reconsider our diet.”
The bath was very satisfactory, nothing to say about it. The children's dinner menu was the worst. The omelette rice dish was nothing but an omelette rice dish, and it was obvious that they did not use domestic eggs. The deep-fried food was also unappetizing, as it had a burnt brown tinge to it, as if they had used used used oil. It looked as if it would make me sick to my stomach if I ate it. The dessert of watermelon and pudding was the least I could do. I wish they would make the menu more child-friendly. Also, the cabbage was not sweet enough, which made me sad. I do not have a discerning palate, but I sincerely hope that you can provide us with normal meals. Since you have a good quality hot spring!
