A lovely resort hotel, located on the shores of Hokkaido's beautiful Lake Akan in the Akan National Park. The water in the large public bath is piped directly from a fresh hot spring source and the buffet restaurant is proud to serve delicious regional cuisine made from the finest local produce.

Maybe for a women's trip.”
The food was delicious. The shuttle bus takes you to Tsuruga's hot springs, which is enough if you don't want to bother. However, the rooms were a bit cold and looked a bit dilapidated. There is a women's make-up room, which would be fun for a women's trip if not for the Corona.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Awesome view and fantastic nightly fireworks over the frozen lake. Unfortunately we only managed to book a smoking room which had very strong smoke smell even in the bath area which made our hotel stay rather uncomfortable.

Above average”
The room is small, with certain bad smell. Hot bath facilities, though available, appear inadequate. We enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner very much. Staff are also friendly and helpful.
