A traditional Japanese inn situated in the Kusatsu Onsen area, and only a 4-minute walk away from Yubatake. Guests can look forwards to soaking in the constantly flowing water directly drawn from the prestige hot spring source of Yubatake at the large communal bath, open-air bath and the reservable private bath. The cuisine is also highly recommended.

There are a large number of bathtubs inside the building, so it is not crowded, and there are three open-air baths where you can take your time. The hot spring baths leave your skin smooth and the water never gets cold. Massage machines are available free of charge.

It was close to Yubatake, and the hot springs and food were excellent. The employees were very kind. I would like to stay there again. Thank you very much.

Larger multi-story facility located away from centre of town so is quieter. Hotel will send driver to pick you from bus terminal - call them when you arrive. Good comfortable rooms. 2 different bath areas both with different pools/tubs, indoor and outdoo

Hotel is within a 5 minute walk from the Yubatake. Situated in a quieter location and awy from the crowd at Yubatake. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle bus service pickup from the Kusatsu Onsen bus station and also drop-off. The tourist info centre

Kusatsu Onsen was great. The room, the onsens and the food was perfect. We would be able to appreciate the food more if there had been an English menu, because we didn't know what we were eating; but we ate it all and it was delicious!

The room was beautifully furnished in traditional Japanese style. Most staff is able to speak English and they were extremely helpful/thoughtful to help make our stay comfortable. The hotel also provided its guests with a range of products to try out in

人手不足は、理解しますが、スタッフが外人ばかり。フロントに目的場所を訊ねると、ネットで調べ即答できず。だったらスマホで自分で調べた方が早いかも。またサービスも落ちました。フロントでキーを渡され、荷物も部屋まで運ばない。 連泊したが味噌汁が連日同じだった。サウナ撤去しちゃったんですね。残念。 部屋に冷水があること、ワンドリンクサービスするところ、風呂上りに麦茶があるところは、嬉しいサービス。 １１回のダイニングで、一生懸命テーブルを拭く女性（初心者マークの人）に感動して見ていました。どんな仕事でも手を抜かない姿勢に私も手を抜かず向き合おうと襟を正されるおもいでした。

建物の古さは仕方ない。お風呂は男女入れ替えになっている。奥の方の風呂は段差がある、古くて外の風呂は白い何かがたくさん浮いていた。脱衣場も鍵がかからないタイプ。貴重品だけ入る小さな鍵つきロッカーあり。手前の風呂は設備がきれいだった。お風呂もきれい。家族バラバラでお風呂にいけない。鍵が１つだから。あと、サウナがあると、いいな。夕食は色々あって美味しかった。朝は席が一杯で入り口で待った。色々あって満足。パンが一種類だけだったのが惜しい。スタッフはほぼ外国の方。とても、日本語は上手でこまることはなかった。目の前に共同浴場があってこれはとても嬉しかった。駐車場は遠いけど車で送ってくれるし問題なし。

女友達４人で宿泊しました！憧れの色浴衣も無料のサービスがつき…夕食も選べるタイプで着いて早々、テンションがあがりました！ 生憎の雨でしたが、ワガママを色々と聞いて下さり、大満足の旅になりました！ 温泉が素敵で、特に露天風呂には大満足です。またお世話になりたいと思います！

館内は落ち着いているのに、自動販売機や夜食スペースなど館内で長い時間過ごせるサービスありました。 バスタオルの柔らかさや使い心地の良さが印象的でした。湯が草津ならでは、の湯で大満足。連泊したい宿。

六年ぶりの家族全員揃っての草津で、ゆっくりのんびりさせてもらいました。従業員の方の対応は、大変良かったです。孫のスリッパのサイズ交換も快く、していただけました。一つ夕飯の献立の説明が、初心者マークを付けた方だったせいか、わかりずらかったです。

夕食の会席料理がとても美味しかったです。 立地も観光地に徒歩で行けるので行動しやすかったですし送迎ついてるのがありがたかったです。

“Good things and old things”
Overall, it is a Showa-era inn but has been partially renewed and has a mixture of old and improved new. Minus = Massage chair in the room is old and painful Washbasin has peeling plating and the drainage is not good The aisle is low and dark The changing room in the bathroom is not easy to use The open-air bath is not liberating (the spring quality is good) Two EVs are hard for this size Plus = The room is spacious (inside the room and the passage are different worlds) The deck is also good The deck is nice and comfortable Two TVs are convenient The distance to the yubatake is just right for the atmosphere There is a space to change clothes (a space not found anywhere else) The transportation and luggage storage are courteous and nice I felt the price was just right
