This new ryokan opened in July 2010! Overlooking the Kusatsu Onsen area, Tokinoniwa, which is floored entirely with tatami, features Kusatsu's silky, soothing hot springs with two large communal baths, three private baths, and ensuite open-air baths attached to every guestroom.

Really love this ryokan. Should stay more than 1 day. Everything is perfect here. I love the room, the food, and the open air bath in the room especially when you book the room with japanican.com, everything is correct as you want.

Shuttle bus to and from Karuizawa is very convenient. Shuttle bus between hotel and Yutabake is also provided. Hotel is modern yet traditional. Good hospitality. Food is alright but could be better.

客房很大舒適, 有房內溫泉, 設施齊全, 早餐可選西式和日式很好, 晚餐味道不錯但份量有點少, 晚餐只有兩個時段, 但4點check in 已經只剩5點半時段可選, 令溫泉街只能走馬看花, 有點可惜 酒店設有shuttle bus 來往輕井澤很好! 不過酒店地點遠離溫泉街, 只能靠shuttle bus往返有點不便 酒店溫泉設施很多, 但貸切溫泉只有3個, 而酒店有太多客人, 要排隊或好運遇到沒人時才可用
