It may not be a problem in the rooms, but I think it is time to update the flush valves in the toilets used on 9F and 3F, etc., as they are the old lever type (which is fine) and rusty. It was unfortunate that the lever could not be pressed with the lid up, so when the lid was on, it was impossible to see if the process was done. The only other thing is that it is a hassle to get to the annex and the west wing, nothing else is a problem. The location is great and the rooms are large but clean. And even with the air conditioning turned off, the room was warm and repeatable within the family.

It is only 5 minutes away from the bus terminal, and since Yubatake is right in front of the hotel, it was nice to be able to walk around and enjoy the illumination at night when it is cold. There are two types of baths, each with different temperatures, and the hot spring water is free-flowing, so the water is very nice. Everyone was very kind and the food was delicious. It was a little cold in the hotel because it is a big hotel.

An enjoyable stay at this excellent location. Staff were helpful with a real Japanese feel to the room, food and atmosphere. This is a very good hotel to spend some quality spa time

We stayed for 2 nights. Everything was superb. Except the second night that we were assigned for traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast, first night was buffet which was really good, which were not quite our taste. We felt so bad that we couldn’t fini

“Right next to Yubatake”
We stayed here before Golden Week. We were able to stay here just in time for the opening of the Shirane-Kusatsu route, so we were able to fully enjoy our first visit to Kusatsu Onsen. As soon as we arrived at the inn, we were surprised by the amazing smell of sulfur! We were a little disappointed that we did not have a room with a view of Yubatake, but next time we would definitely like to have a room with a view of Yubatake. We enjoyed the hot water and food of Kusatsu. Thank you very much.
