More about Washu Blue Resort Kasago

This hotel is located in a place offering views of the gentle Seto Inland Sea and the beauty of the many islands from all rooms. There is a large communal bath with the only natural hot spring water in the Washuzan area, and guests can relish spectacular scenery from the rooftop open-air bath. In particular, the hotel's original Honey Pearl Bath which contains honey is popular among guests as a hot spring that's said to have skin-beautifying effects. For dinner, look forward to savoring a kaiseki buffet-style meal that combines Japanese cuisine with a buffet style. In consideration of SDGs, buffet dishes are served in small portions on small plates, and freshly cooked dishes are made to order at the live kitchen. Experience a new style of dining where guests can casually enjoy a variety of Japanese cuisine in small portions.

      “I was able to relax.”

This was my first time using this service. I love beer, so I was happy to see that I could drink it for free until 8:30pm. As soon as we arrived, we were soothed by the beautiful view on the terrace. Dinner was also very authentic with lots of dishes served in various containers and the desserts were amazing! The Basque cheesecake and gateau chocolat were especially delicious. I also enjoyed a relaxing soak in the hot spring to warm up. I would definitely use this hotel again!

      “Viking?”

It's a buffet! I thought so, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chef prepared delicious dishes and brought them to my table.

      “Good”

The hotel room (Japanese style) is reasonably spacious and have a nice view of the bridge. But the building itself is a little bit old and might be about time for a renovation. The food provided is acceptable but not great.

      “笑顔が素敵でした”

      フロントはじめ従業員の笑顔に「ほっこり」癒されました。夕食は和食懐石頂きましたが、ズワイガニのボイルいただく時左手に障害あり身を取るのに苦労してた時声掛けしたスタッフさん快く身を取る事引き受けて頂き本当にありがとうございました。おかげで全ての料理美味しくいただけました。感謝しております。ゆっくりと家族揃っての食事も楽しめました。次回の宿泊もお願いしたいです。
